Building an Impactful People Analytics Practice – Wharton People Analytics Conference 2024
Leaders across industries have repeatedly asked us “how can we build a people analytics practice at our organization?” To find out, The Moh Foundation's Applied Insights Team of competitively-selected students conducted a multi-year research project, interviewing and surveying people analytics leaders from a diverse array of organizations. Their aim was to uncover the factors that promote - or impede - the success of people analytics teams. In this session, they reveal preliminary findings, including the trends they've uncovered, and the pitfalls to avoid in order to build and sustain an impactful people analytics team.

    Private equity sounds like a mechanism that extracts the most amount of value from a business, and transfers that wealth to the few general partners. Everyone loses - the business, the employees, the local consumers, the tax payers.... except for the general partners

      The people you’re claiming don’t benefit wouldn’t have benefited with or without the private equity buyout. The business was failing before private equity came in, they just more efficiently manage the end of the companies life. Most likely allowing most companies to work there longer than they would have been able to do before.

      There's not enough downside to being bad at PE in my opinion, you still make tons of money. Hard to find another job where you can make so much for an extended period of time while being so terrible. if you have enough finance, reach out to an Adviser.

    Very helpful; however, as this AI stuff is new to me, I found that the Professors spoke too fast for me to absorb what they were saying. Had to reduce the speed to 0.75x. Slow down a bit please. Information is great!!!!

    Thank you for the excellent presentation. In my view, equity is about everyone elevating their performance. With the shift towards data and analytics, it's crucial for individuals to either raise their game or risk falling behind. Just like in a 3000m track and field race, if one runner is excelling and leading the pack of ten runners, you don't slow down the leader so others can catch up.Bottom line: we don't need artificial diversity actions.
